dc.description.abstract	The investigation that is described in this report was carried out in November and December in 1968 as a minor research commission for the Swedish International Development Authority (SIDA). The land area covered by the investigation was that of the Ethiopian-Swedish CADU-project (Chilalo Agricultural Development Unit), mainly the Chilalo awraja in the Arussi province. The ti^o months that were spent in the Chilalo area were entirely devoted to collecting plant material. For that work valuable assistance was provided by Mr Gugsa Indeshaw from the CADU-project. Analysis of the material was later on carried out at the Agricultural College, Department of Plant Husbandry, in Uppsala.	en_US
