Abstract:
Understanding of a course dealing with poultry breeding requires some knowledge of basic
genetics. Here it is only possible to present a brief introduction to the genetics of inheritance.
In addition in this introductory section we will also compare some aspects of poultry breeding
with that of other farm animals
